A face to face showdown between Newt Gingrich and Barack Obama would be well worth the price of admission. Here are a few samples of Newt in action. First we have two excerpts from the Thanksgiving Family Forum in Iowa, and then we have an ad from a debate in August highlighting Newt’s contempt for the mislabeled Super Committee. All three clearly demonstrate that Newt has game.

These two excerpts highlight Newt Gingrich as an intellectual and a human being.

This next item is an ad highlighting Newt’s political acumen .

If Newt Gingrich and Barack Obama were to meet next year in the Presidential debates, it would quickly become obvious that Newt, not Barack Obama, is the smartest man in the room.

About the Author

- Paul Bianco, retired from a career in sales, now spends his spare time as a gadfly on the many political blogs. Paul says he is just going through a phase, but that phase seems to have lasted two decades. Paul's conservative political philosophy was formed well before conservative talk radio and Fox News came along. Paul remembers the days when conservatives like William F Buckley Jr were voices in the wilderness "standing athwart history, yelling stop!" From time to time Paul contributes some of the insights he has gained from observing politics for so many years, and hopes that readers will be entertained and perhaps even enlightened.
